When is the Class of 2023 Confirmation?

Most 10th grade Confirmation students were initially scheduled to be Confirmed on November 28, 2020. We still anticipate that these students will be confirmed around that time but expect that multiple ceremonies will be needed to incorporate social distancing and other safety measures. After coordinating with the Archdiocese of Boston, we will have more information on ceremony dates and guest attendance procedures. More information will be posted to event’s page on the Life Teen Calendar as we move closer towards Confirmation day.

Is there a Confirmation rehearsal?

After the Confirmation ceremony dates for Fall 2020 are determined, any supplemental events such as rehearsals will be posted as well.

Is there any Confirmation paperwork?

There are several action items which must be completed by students and parents throughout the two year Confirmation process. You can view these items by visiting

What is the proper attire for Confirmation candidates?

Dress attire is expected for the Confirmation Mass. For the guys, this would be dress pants and a shirt and tie. Suit jackets and blazers are not necessary. For the ladies, dress length should at least correlate with arm length, not being shorter than the candidate’s hands when at their sides. Please note, there are no particular colors that must be worn. A white or red outfit is not required for confirmation.

Is there seating for any special accessibility needs?

There will be pew space reserved at the front of the church for attendees with any special accessibility needs. We can adjust seating assignments accordingly for any confirmation candidates/ sponsors, if needed. There are handicap parking spaces available on the north side of the church (the side of the church opposite the parking lot side). Access to the church elevator is also from this side of the building.

Will there be enough Confirmation day parking?

Please consider the high volume of attendance for the Confirmation Mass. Carpooling can help reduce the vehicle count in the church parking lot. Please be be safe and practice social distancing accordingly.

Will there be enough Confirmation day seating in the Church?

Overflow seating will be available downstairs in Hurley Hall. In this section, visitors will be able to view the mass via live stream. Communion will be offered to all in the overflow section during the Mass.
